What size/length scissor should I buy?

It's a personal choice, however, in our experience most female stylists prefer 5.5 to 6 inch scissors and male stylists tend to use 6 inch and up.

How long will my new scissors last?

How often you tension and oil your scissors will have a great impact on how long they last and stay sharp, as well as things like washing your clients hair prior to cutting.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend sharpening your scissors before the hair pushes out of the blade.

Most professional scissors are designed to last a life time but we recommend buying a new pair/set annually.
